#NYFW F/W 2014 Kicks off!

It seems like yesterday we were just getting a glimpse at S/S 2014 previews, and in less than 24 hours, the famous fashion gates at Lincoln Center will reopen yet again.  I don’t know about you, but with the type of winter we’ve been having, I’m not really looking forward to another season with lots of layering just yet. #Mylatestobsession-Shauns Shades

I recently checked out Shauns Shades S/S 2014 collection at The Modern at MOMA.  Raising my hand to admit I have an obsession with sunglasses, I fell in love with their Earlsferry in a matte camo green finish. Not only did they fit my face perfectly, but the Carl Zeiss lenses made my view picture perfect.  The LA-based eyewear brand also gives back in a big way with their “Give Sight” commitment.  When you purchase a pair, it triggers one more pair of glasses to be given to someone in need.  To learn more, check out styleTV’s recent interview with the designer Shaun Paterson and supermodel Chanel Iman here.

I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a joyous holiday season. TOMASNYC.com Launch!

StyleTV was recently invited to the launch of my good friend and Filipino designer Robin Tomas’s online boutique here in NYC.  Creator of the label TOMAS, he has decided to expand to the online market with Tomasnyc.com.  The event also happened to feature a look at his womenswear Holiday/Resort collection for 2013.  More importantly, due to the recent tragedy that occurred in the Philippines, 10% of his online sales will go to charities helping in relief efforts till the end of the year.  A HUGE #fashion4good shout out to Robin!  To learn more about the launch and to view the entire collection, click & watch!
