With spring just day’s away, I thought I would start to warm things up with a behind-the-scenes look into a recent shoot we shot here in New York for designer Rinat Brodach’s S/S 14 campaign.

The 10 Most GQ Summer Looks

They like me…They really really like me…Well at least GQ says they do.  They recently chose a photo of me that was submitted by my friend Mary who shot it for their “10 Most GQ Summer Looks” feature for GQ.com.  I was notified this past Saturday evening that I was was being featured on their website.  I was a bit caught off guard as it was a surprise, but a good one indeed.  I’m a huge fan of the iconic men’s magazine.  It’s always a pleasure to read and now be recognized by them and their editors.   Thanks guys for selecting me-very humbled and honored.

Fall in love with your LBD all over again

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times.  Every girl should have a LBD (Little Black Dress) in her closet.  When in doubt, it’s the perfect piece to throw on for that last-minute dinner party or unexpected date.  As papa Karl puts it, “One is never over or under dressed with a LBD on.”  I would have to agree. However, if you have had a recent separation with your little black BFF, I have a feeling you’ll fall in love all over again with these simple tips.

Fashionisto of the month: Me!

I’ve always wanted to be prom king but unfortunately that wasn’t in the cards for me.  I guess I’ll have to settle for fashionisto of the month.  I was recently asked a series of questions in an interview with Hautevisual.com.  They were kind enough to feature myself as their favorite fashionisto during the month of August.   To find out what I can’t live without-Click here!

#Fashion4good-Jessica Stam

Raised in Kincardine, Ontario, Jessica Stam has come along way since her days on the farm.  After being discovered by famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel, she quickly rose to supermodel status gracing the covers of major magazines like Italian Vogue.  She’s also appeared in advertisements for Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Prada, Emporio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, and Bulgari. To add to her long list of accomplishments, she’s recently transitioned into hosting and can be seen on Yahoo’s fashion show The Thread.

More importantly, what Jessica’s most proud of is her ability to give back.  She continues to donate her time to charities like Many Hopes, Peace Jam and Adopt Together.   Having come from a big family with a lot of love surrounding her, she felt the need to reach out to those children in need of it.  In a recent interview with my friends at South Florida Luxury Guide, she talks more in depth about her involvement with each charity.  A well-deserved #Fashion4good shout out to Jessica for all of her efforts in wanting to make a difference in these at risk children’s lives.  It’s individuals like her who need to be recognized for utilizing their own fame and success to help shed light to a much bigger issue at hand .  A true supermodel if ask me!
