Dapper Dudes-2014 Golden Globes
While most men played it safe on last night’s red carpet, there were a few risk-takers amongst all the soot. From McConaughey’s forest green velvet tux, to Usher’s diamond encrusted brooch, the following actors weren’t afraid to show off their stylish side. Playing the dapper character quite nicely, they all receive (or their stylist) a Golden Globe in the category for “Best Dressed Dude.”

Pitti’s Pimps Fall 2014
Pitti Uomo attracts some of the most stylish men in fashion to Florence, Italy, twice a year to check out what’s up-and-coming for menswear. A four day long trade event, it’s one that doesn’t disappoint when it comes to the street style. Despite this year’s overlap, bright colors, bold patterns, fur, and lots of jewelry took over the streets again last week for the fall 2014 run. Below, I’ve compiled some of the best shots of the leading men who attended the show looking, if you will, completely “pimp.”

A Look into: Lunch date w/Parcel & Journey
This past Wednesday, I had a wonderful lunch date with the my good friend Liz and Joanna Steinberg, Creator of Parcel & Journey, at L’Express in midtown. It was really great to finally see and feel all the wonderful accessories this new and exiting website has to offer. More importantly, it was inspiring to listen to Joanna explain to Liz and I what Parcel & Journey is doing to help these talented artisans grow their own businesses. “It’s all about distribution and without it, these individuals wouldn’t be able to pay their rent, debts off, etc.,” Joanna explains to us. #Fashion4good at its finest!
I was fortunate enough to snap some photos of our outing with my new Canon Rebel. Black Friday deal curtesy of Target! If you’re just getting your holiday shopping started, this is definitely one website I endorse you to check out. The quality is amazing and everything is priced appropriately. Not to mention, you’re helping someone you don’t even know sustain their business. What a great story to tell the person you’re giving the gift to!

“The fashion industry is small and it’s all about friends supporting friends and new labels,” says fashion expert Carson Kressley in a recent interview with styleTV. I couldn’t agree more! So when my inbox received an invite to view russian designer Vassa’s first presentation here in the US, I sent Josh McBride to the Four Season’s Hotel in midtown manhattan to check out the collection. I’m excited to announce that CTMA has joined forces with Parcel & Journey. Recently launched, founder Joanna Steinberg has created a virtual global marketplace featuring beautifully designed accessories. More importantly, the curated collections have been handcrafted by skilled artisans from improvised countries like Africa, Indonesia and Nepal. Aiding in helping these artists become self-sufficient within their communities by providing better healthcare, education and nutrition to their families is a goal Joanna is looking to accomplish with P&J.
