With spring just day’s away, I thought I would start to warm things up with a behind-the-scenes look into a recent shoot we shot here in New York for designer Rinat Brodach’s S/S 14 campaign.

This past Wednesday, I had a wonderful lunch date with the my good friend Liz and Joanna Steinberg, Creator of Parcel & Journey, at L’Express in midtown. It was really great to finally see and feel all the wonderful accessories this new and exiting website has to offer. More importantly, it was inspiring to listen to Joanna explain to Liz and I what Parcel & Journey is doing to help these talented artisans grow their own businesses. “It’s all about distribution and without it, these individuals wouldn’t be able to pay their rent, debts off, etc.,” Joanna explains to us. #Fashion4good at its finest!
I was fortunate enough to snap some photos of our outing with my new Canon Rebel. Black Friday deal curtesy of Target! If you’re just getting your holiday shopping started, this is definitely one website I endorse you to check out. The quality is amazing and everything is priced appropriately. Not to mention, you’re helping someone you don’t even know sustain their business. What a great story to tell the person you’re giving the gift to!
We’re already almost a week into the Movember movement and it seems like everyone from celebrities, to athletes, to even TV news anchors are getting in on the month-long mustache growing global charity event. More importantly, I recently read via the LA Times, that LA-based premium denim brand 7 For All Mankind has partnered with Movember USA in creating a limited-edition collection with the famous moustache logo printed on the inner waistband and pocket. The best part!? For each pair sold, they’re donating $20 to Movember’s efforts in raising awareness for men’s health issues. Now that’s denim you can wear with pride! The collection is being sold online and select retailers. A huge hairy #Fashion4good shout-out to the boys over at 7FAM growing out their staches again this year.
P.S.-Please don’t forget to donate directly to my fundraiser in honor of someone you know has suffered or is currently suffering. If I’ve reach out to you personally, I’m going to be stalking you until you GIVE generously.
A phrase that was coined by Frances Grill, one of the creators behind CLICK Model Management. 33 years later, now a top modeling agency in the United States presently representing over 1000 fresh faces, CLICK continues to turn unknown names into recognizable icons. To name a few, Isabella Rossellini, Uma Thurman, Whitney Houston, Elle MacPherson and Grace Jones were all discovered by the agency. Not only have they created careers for these famous females, but have also shown support with the expansion of their men’s, plus-size and talent divisions.
This past fashion week, styleTV was lucky enough to chat with some of their rising stars at their #NYFW Kick-off party. One of my favorites, Parker Gregory, who was recently shot for one of Louis Vuitton’s iconic ad campaigns, tells us why he has called CLICK his home for over 9 years. Other clients who attended the event included industry names like Nautica, Sears, J.Crew, and DVF. To view other highlights of the evening-Click to watch!

I was recently asked by the editors over at Details.com to join their contributing network. A channel created by the magazine’s website to give those with noteworthy content a platform to be heard, it showcases the latest in looks, ideas, products and places when it comes to men’s fashion. I’ve always been a fan of the magazine and look forward to contributing to this new and exciting network.
styleTV recently partnered up with clothing line Maono in Washington D.C., where Correspondent Grant Harris was at the official launch of their pop-up shop, which took place at the Science Club. He had the opportunity to talk with Founder & CEO, Syga Thomas, in an exclusive interview found only on the styleTV channel. Maono was created with the simple mission to produce high-quality goods at affordable prices. More importantly, they pride themselves on giving back and donate 5% of their profits to organizations that help make our communities a better place. #Fashion4good-I love it! If you’re as excited as I am about Maono, and want to learn more about the brand, click & watch.

Crowned Montreal’s Dame of Fashion, Marisa Minicucci, is hoping to add another title to her name here in the US. The recent launch of her line MM: Minicucci x Marcanio, a collection which is comprised of mostly high-end tailored jackets, already is proving to be a hit. Several styles from her pre-fall 2013 collection have been seen on the red carpet by fans like E! Entertainment Correspondent Alicia Quarles. She’s also been mentioned in popular publications like the Houston Chronicle, South Florida Luxury Guide, NBC’s WBIR, Faboverfifty, and Bangstyle.com.
With her daughter by her side, Anissa Marcanio, has added a bit of real life edge to the collection with a younger demographic in mind. Marrying the two generations ideals makes for a modern yet feminine collection.
“The high-end womenʼs ready-to-wear clothing, gives any woman regardless of age or how fashion forward they perceive themselves to be, a look that merits a double take from anyone in any situation,” describes the mother-daughter duo.
Prices for pre-fall range from $255.00-$795.00. The collection is currently available online with select styles already sold out. They’ve also recently started their expansion here in New York and can be seen at select boutiques across the US and Canada.
A couple months ago, MM collaborated with CTMA to model some of their most sought after styles from the pre-fall 2013 collection. The final product can be seen below.
