Block Party

I happened to be in the West Village for some meetings last Thursday and forget how beautiful this part of the city is.  Lucky to have had some down time in-between, I walked around with photographer friend Jocelyn Voo to snap some photos of my look.  Speaking of my outfit, I have to give a #mylatestobsession shout out to Banana Republic.  The peacoat and shirt I’m wearing are from their Spring 2014 collection. For me, these two particular pieces really stood out as must-haves for the season. If you’re interested in purchasing, I suggest you run to the nearest BR store as I believe the coat is pretty much sold out everywhere.  Good luck & happy spring-let the awakening begin!

Coat & Shirt: Banana Republic, Denim: Earnest Sewn, Envelope: 3L (custom), Shoes: Grenson, Sunglasses: Ziari (vintage)

A couple weeks ago during the exhausting heat wave we had in New York, I was stopped by Refinery 29‘s bubbly New York Editor Annie Georgia Greenberg to talk fashion in the West Village.  She was curious to find out exactly how I was coping with the heat the way I was dressed.  To find out how was I staying cool, Click here. P.S.-Thank you Refinery 29 for considering me one of West Village’s cool kids!

Ahmee eHow

Last minute pulls have been made and preparation is underway for another style series with eHow.  We are getting excited to be shooting at Ahmee Boutique in the heart of the West Village here in New York City.  A trendy shop that sells a variety of different fashions for men, women and children, becomes a one stop destination for the entire family.

I met with the owner Heloise last week and she is ecstatic to be having us film at her location.  She told me the original plan was for a pop-up shop, but have since then been open for two years.  They must be doing something right since rumor has it, this place is a hot spot for celebrities who live in the area.

By the way, check out these sunglasses I found by SUPER.  It was love at first site!

What’s your favorite place to shop in New York City?
